NAACP Affordable Housing Training

The Amherst Human Rights Commission has identified Affordable Housing as a priority.  With this in mind you are invited to:

The Massachusetts Fair Housing Center and the Amherst NAACP             
co-sponsored
"Fair Housing Training"

This presentation will provide very important information to the community about federal and state fair housing laws, including what constitutes housing discrimination and what to do if you face it.
This event is free and open to the public.

Monthly Focus: Housing Committee
The Committee on Housing shall:
(1) study housing conditions in the local community 
(2) receive and seek to address complaints of discrimination 
(3) oppose all restrictive practices whether public or private
(4) disseminate information and render such other assistance that may eliminate discrimination in housing.
