Amherst Human Rights Commission Receives Proclaimation

Amherst Commissioners and NAACP members receive proclamation from Gov. Deval Patrick for celebration of the first Public Black History Month assembly in the state.  NAACP member Judy Brooks conceived the idea and Commissioner Damon Mallory spearheaded this event held on the steps of Town Hall on the Amherst Common Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12–12:30PM.
