Come celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  You can participate by joining in a community reading of the United Nations Proclamation in our candlelight ceremony.

Copies of the Declaration will be distributed to all who attend.

Please bring a candle or flashlight.

This is a powerful and meaningful event!

The Most Powerful Anti-Racism Commercial You’ll Ever See

This Portuguese ad, created 15 years ago in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations, is still powerful as ever. Its 55-second message is timeless, demanding that we stand up for injustice when we see it.
The ad begins with a Caucasian woman sitting down on an airplane next to an African American man. She is clearly disgruntled.
